Yesterday Chloe turned 17 and I turned 28.

We had a big lunch at Communal, Grant and I went to a movie. Then we had a family dinner at PF Changs then we went and had cake and opened presents.

It was a very happy day.

Yesterday afternoon was so beautiful we decided to take Monet to the golf course. She was in her own little heaven. Running and screaming and singing and driving the golf cart.

Monet went to her 2 year Dr appointment last week.

Head: 47.2 cm (25%)

I can't believe she only weighs twenty pounds. But she is progressing and growing taller, he said it was just genetics (thanks to Grant) and he said if she keeps growing at this rate she will be about 5'4/5'5. So I immediately took her to the nearest ballet class. I decided I might turn into the mother who lives her dreams through her daughter...

There is a new baby colt at the barn near my parents house, so we took Monet to see him. She loves horses because Grant takes her to the horses by our house everyday. She was so excited and happy!

Mothers Day is the best holiday ever. I'm glad to be a part of it.

Yesterday was Grant's birthday. Chloe wasn't there so there were no pictures taken, but we had a lot of fun. We ate Chinese food at Shoots and then spent a ridiculous amount of money at Provo Beach competing in hoop shoot basketball and trying to win an iPad... Hilarious. I selfishly gave Grant this print to hang on our mantle :)

Thursday was Monet's 2nd birthday, so we celebrated by having an Owl Party.

Beaux, Sloane, Indi & Monet.

The weather was surprisingly nice, so it was great that the kids could play and eat outside.

We played 'pin the beak on the owl'.The kids loved the pull string pinata.

Monet really loved all of her gifts. She thought this Little Mermaid card from Wyatt and Lindsay was pretty awesome.

And look at this dress they gave her, so adorable with matching sparkly Toms.

She didn't waste any time sporting her new sunglasses from Dylan.

She wanted to open and play with everything right away.

My parents gave her this cute little table and chairs and a new Strider bike. Riley gave her a helmet and biking gloves. She is always trying on my dads bike helmet so she was eager to put on her own.

I can't wait until it gets warm and we can play with it outside.

Then it was time for birthday candles. She had been preparing for this moment all week. And it paid off because she did it again and again and again and again....

I think she had the best birthday a two year old could have.
