Thursday was Monet's 2nd birthday, so we celebrated by having an Owl Party.
Beaux, Sloane, Indi & Monet.
The weather was surprisingly nice, so it was great that the kids could play and eat outside.
We played 'pin the beak on the owl'.
The kids loved the pull string pinata.
Monet really loved all of her gifts. She thought this Little Mermaid card from Wyatt and Lindsay was pretty awesome.
And look at this dress they gave her, so adorable with matching sparkly Toms.
She didn't waste any time sporting her new sunglasses from Dylan.
She wanted to open and play with everything right away.
My parents gave her this cute little table and chairs and a new Strider bike. Riley gave her a helmet and biking gloves. She is always trying on my dads bike helmet so she was eager to put on her own.
I can't wait until it gets warm and we can play with it outside.
Then it was time for birthday candles. She had been preparing for this moment all week. And it paid off because she did it again and again and again and again.
...I think she had the best birthday a two year old could have.
