On New Years Eve Day, Grant and Larry got to work making Monet her very own Frosty. Once it was finished, she was thrilled.

Every morning she runs to the window to look at Frosty. Hopefully it snows again this week so we can make another one because now she runs to the window and says "Frosty melting, oh no."

In other news, congrats to Chloe, who last Saturday, won their division in the State Cheer Competition. Sadly all the photos are on her computer. She has another competition on the 5th so I promise to document that one better.

The other day at In N Out the girl said to Grant, "How are you?" and Monet said, "Good how are you."

This little girl copies everything you say. When she falls down she looks at me and says, "gosh." She called my mom Becky at lunch today. My dad introduced her to 'The Wizard of Oz' and now she is obsessed (Buzz and Jessie are on the back burner for sure.) She has to watch it a few times a day. All day long she tells me about Dorothy and how Tinman needs a heart and Scarecrow a brain. She talks about the witch, the flying monkeys, the munchkins. She laughs so hard when the Lion jumps out of the window, (her favorite part.) She also loves when the tree's throw the apples, and brings it up numerous times a day. When she first watched I could hardly remember the movie, now I have it memorized.

She's very sweet and funny and smart.

Yesterday after Monet's bath I decided to put her hair in pig tails for the first time (since it's so long in the back.) Oh, she looked so cute and old! At first she was pulling at them saying, "Get it off? Get it off" But by the end of the night she didn't seem to mind.

HALLOWEEN The little witch juicing up before the big night.
Monet quickly learned the concept once my mom but candy in her bucket.
Let the candy eating begin. However I think she ate more paper than candy because she would just bite right into it through the wrappers.
Grandma Joanne brought her a Halloween snow globe which she immediately dropped and broke but luckily she brought two!

Monet thought Chloe's cat mask was pretty hilarious.

Monet loved answering the door. As soon as the doorbell would ring she would jump up and scream.

After eating salad, lasagna, cream soda, Carmel apples, sugar cookies and candy, we watched the baseball game while it poured and poured outside. Finally we headed out into the cold to trick or treat. We drove around to family and friends and to see a haunted house.

Monet unfazed by what's sitting next to her.

We had so much fun and partied hard. Monet was exhausted and fell fast asleep on the way home!

Monet absolutely loved halloween this year.
